Shaun Wright-Phillips is set for talks with Neil Warnock on Tuesday over a £2million switch to QPR.
Wright-Phillips has been given permission to leave Manchester City and could complete his move within hours.
Rangers' new owner Tony Fernandes is prepared to offer the England winger a whopping £3m-a-year salary to beat off competition from Stoke and Wigan.
Wright-Phillips, 29, will become the latest casualty of a cost-cutting regime at the Etihad Stadium and end his second spell at City.
