QPR manager Mark Hughes is ready to launch a £4million bid for Wigan’s contract-rebel striker Hugo Rodallega.
Hughes hopes to lure the Colombian hitman, who is a free agent this summer, to London.
But he faces competition from Championship leaders West Ham, who feel the 26-year-old can fire them into the Premier League.
The Latics want to keep the forward to boost their Premier League survival fight after Bristol City’s Nicky Maynard, 25, turned them down, but club owner Dave Whelan could still cash in.
