Branislav Ivanovic is set to be given a three-match ban - and Chelsea also face a battle to keep him.
Real Madrid are keen on the versatile Serbian defender and are keen on trying to lure Ivanovic away from Stamford Bridge this summer.
Jose Mourinho rates Ivanovic highly and even if he leaves Real Madrid the Spanish giants are keen on the £12m-rated centre half who can also play right back.
Ivanovic has been in outstanding form this season and will be a huge miss if the FA do ban him following their trial by television.
The FA have charged Ivanovic after he punched Wigan's Shaun Maloney in the stomach during the build-up to Chelsea's winning goal.

Referee Mike Jones missed the incident and now the FA could give Ivanovic a three game ban which would rule him out of the FA Cup semi final with Tottenham on Sunday.
