Ricardo Fuller is tipped to bring the curtain down on his six-year career at Stoke this summer.
The 32-year-old is expected to leave on a free transfer after growing frustrated at his lack of first-team action under Tony Pulis.
Fuller has made only one Premier League start this season and is keen to pursue fresh challenges, with Wigan, plus Championship sides Cardiff and Ipswich all interested.
Boss Pulis said: “Whatever happens with Ric, he has been one of the best players to have ever represented this club.”
The Jamaica international helped fire the Potters into the top-flight after his £500,000 move from Southampton in 2006 and was key in keeping them there.
