Nicklas Bendtner wants to discover if he has a future at Arsenal.
Martin O'Neill reckons Bendtner's goal scoring run - he has netted four goals in seven games in March - means he will believe he can return to the Emirates after his loan spell on Wearside ends.
The Danish star has finally settled into Sunderland's way of playing and is thriving alongside Stephane Sessegnon, culminating in an excellent show against Manchester City at the weekend.

But O'Neill is not pinning his hopes on keeping Bendtner. He said: "I've not thought about his future at all. I've not mentioned it to him, there's no point in putting pressure on anyone at the moment.
"Bendtner played as a real proper centre-forward. He was holding the ball, bringing people into play - and he scored he goal. On a performance like that his self-vaunted opinion of himself is maybe justified."
