Sunderland are running the rule over two of Sweden’s rising stars.
The Black Cats are keen on youth internationals Emilio Rossi and Nikola Ladan, both of whom have come through the academy at Gothenburg club BK Hacken.
Rossi, 18, is a left-sided attacking midfielder, 19-year-old Ladan plays in central midfield.
Both players are on trial at the Stadium of Light until Friday, and with both Everton and ambitious Championship side Leicester also monitoring their progress, Wearsiders boss Steve Bruce could move quickly to snap them up.
Hacken coach Thomas Andresson said: “We are not so delighted that they have left, but it is great for the guys that they get to test out how football is over there.”
