Spurs keen on Portuguese prospect

Tottenham scouts have watched Portuguese prospect Eder twice in the past fortnight.

The 23-year-old Academica Coimbra star, a forward, has a year left on his contract but Academica directors would rather sell in January than see him leave for nothing next summer.

The Guinea-born player will cost £2million, with Italian side Parma and German outfit Hannover also interested.
