Jol leading the race to sign seven-figure defender

Fulham boss Martin Jol has shot to the front of the race for Nottingham Forest and Wales right-back Chris Gunter.

Jol is looking for a specialist in that position and is rivalling Blackburn and Norwich for the £1million former Spurs and Cardiff prospect.
