Baggies close to landing Dundee midfielder

West Brom are on the brink of landing Dundee United’s Scotland Under-21 international midfielder Scott Allan for £450,000.

Baggies boss Roy Hodgson wants to agree terms for the 19-year-old now before completing the move in the January transfer window.

Albion have already had an offer – understood to be around £250,000 – for Allan turned down by the Tannadice club.
