Baggies close in on ex-Man United midfielder

West Bromwich Albion are closing in on a deal to sign Owen Hargreaves.

Albion have held a further round of talks with the injury-jinxed former Manchester United and England midfielder.

Hargreaves, 30, has been offered a contract by Albion and is considering the offer after talks with the club’s sporting and technical director, Dan Ashworth.
